The following is an update on the status of the above project subject.
- 11/6 - Requested State Department of Education (SDE) to schedule site visit.
- 11/21 - Meeting with Ted Remde regarding alternate site for portable high school annex.
- 11/25 - SDE confirmed 12/11 site visit.
- 12/9 - Walk through Watsonville Community Hospital with Robert Peterson, George Betz, Thang Do (Architect), Richard Meyer and hospital staff. Requested a set of construction drawings. General site review regarding feasibility and educational suitability.
- 12/11 - Meeting with Stan Rose, SDE field consultant and Kim Wirth, Watsonville Airport regarding:

- Airport master plan (future control tower and runway
expansion).
- Flight patterns (existing and future) - noise and safety.
- Review of sites:
- Watsonville Community Hospital
- Amesti Elementary
- Calabasas Elementary
- Rampart Road at Buena Vista Drive
- Lee Road at Harkins Slough Road
- Ag land at No. East corner of Green Valley Road
- East side of Green Valley at Amesti
- * 51 Pioneer Road
- * Project site.

- 01/06/92 - Second meeting with Stan Rose SDE. Also, a fly over with Division of Aeronautics.
- I will arrange to brief the above G.V.A.C. contacts on our progress to date at your next meeting.
- I will request that the G.A.V.C. review the above sites as listed and suggest any additional sites that should be included. I would additionally suggest that we not include any more sites within two (2) miles of the airport and East of Green Valley Road.
I would like to complete our list of alternate sites by December 31st. This would give us the month of January to form a site review group collect data review and discuss, rank and submit to SDE.
