Mission Statement
Our mission is to assist our local school district, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, towards the goal of solving the problem of severely over-crowded high schools, in such a way as to create a school which is well situated to meet our students needs.

Our Priorities
We contend that:
- Student safety is paramount in the siting of a school. Additionally, the school should be conveniently located, as close as possible to where students live, alleviating as much as possible traffic and school bus and other transportation costs.
- Wise use of public funds is a major consideration. Given two equal alternatives, the less expensive should be utilized.
- The good of the community is well served when and if the siting of the school infringes minimally on two community prioritizes: the preservation of our natural resources and the preservation of our community's farms.
Our Commitment
The process of siting a high school is complicated and sensitive, and rarely will all agree upon a single site as universally the best. For this reason, the committee holds very high in our desires that we keep our minds open to the realm of possible solutions to the problem of overcrowded schools. If we are going to promulgate values to our children and students, from us we would like them to learn that wisdom, caring, thoughtful planning, truth and education are what we hold in high esteem. We will not sacrifice our students' well being at school for any hidden agenda which may personally benefit particular people, businesses or organizations. Our focus is on the students. We will not bend from our commitment to place their needs as priority number one.
